Hughesville Teen Injured in Pettis County Rollover
An 18-year-old Hughesville man was injured Tuesday afternoon in a rollover accident.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 12:30, on MO Route D, just west of Highway 65, in Pettis County.
A 2000 Jeep was eastbound when it traveled off the right side of the road, when the driver over corrected. The driver then over corrected a second time, which caused the Jeep to overturn.
The driver, 18-year-old Patrick R. Hanks, suffered moderate injuries in the accident. Pettis County EMS transported Hanks to University Hospital in Columbia, for treatment.
According to the report, the Jeep was totaled in the accident.
