SFCC Horticulture Club Mum Sales Begins

The State Fair Community College Horticulture Club fall mum sale is open to the public in the greenhouse behind the Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building on the Sedalia campus.

The hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Fridays. Saturdays will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. While supplies last.

Many different varieties are for sale, including Spellbound, Jack O’Lantern, Trick or Treat, Eventide Coral, Jacqueline Peach Fusion, Gigi Coral, Pomona Violet, and Candy Corn Gigi Gold.

Single-colored mums are $12 each or three for $30. Tricolor mums are $28 each or two for $50.

The club will use the proceeds to buy equipment and supplies for the horticulture program and greenhouses and to fund educational trips.
