Heading to Mizzou? You’ll Need to Mask Up for Classes and Indoor Events
Effective today the University of Missouri has reinstated its indoor masking requirements for the start of the fall semester.
All students, faculty, staff, and visitors are required to wear a mask in classrooms regardless of vaccination status. Masks are also required in meeting rooms and areas where social distancing is not possible.
For other indoor spaces on campus, unvaccinated community members are required to wear a mask. And the University is recommending vaccinated community members wear a mask in accordance with the latest Centers for Disease Control guidance.
The University of Missouri says this temporary policy will be reviewed by September 15.
