Great Lineup of Free Musical Entertainment Awaits Fairgoers at Bud Tent

I love all the free entertainment at the Missouri State Fair. And nowhere is there more of that at the 2024 Fair this year than the Bud Tent.

Conveniently located across from the grandstand and next to the old Admin building, the Bud Tent contains the Budwesier Stage, where no less than 13 bands will be performing live throughout the 11-day Fair.

The first weekend is what I'm focusing on now. I personally know each member of nine of these talented bands, so it will be a social event, as well as a great musical experience every time I visit the Bud Tent. The great thing about it is, I can come and go as I please, with no admission and no wristbands to worry about.

And the bands I don't know already, I will definitely be checking them out.

Many days there are two bands scheduled to play on stage, so I can plan my day around that, keeping in mind there are many other free entertainment choices across the fairgrounds during the 11-day run of the 2024 Fair, which is Aug. 8-18.

On the first day, Aug. 8, we have The Nace Brothers (Warrensburg) and Queens Boulevard (St. Louis).

On Friday, we have the Clay Clear Band (Sedalia) and Soul Root Band (Jeff City).

On Saturday we have the Cedar Creek Band (Mid Missouri) and Honky Tonk Dream (Sedalia).

And on Sunday and Monday, The Supermatics from Kansas City and Sedalia will be there to entertain us.
