Fox News published an article titled 10 of the best discoveries across the Show-Me State of Missouri, and they claim the number 1 thing to discover is The Gateway Arch. In the article, they say...

"Missouri, often referred to as the "Show-Me State," is a land of diverse landscapes, rich history and vibrant culture. From the majestic Ozark Mountains to the bustling cities like St. Louis and Kansas City, this Midwestern state offers a wealth of attractions and activities for every type of traveler.Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, history buff or a lover of the arts, Missouri has something to offer."

The Gateway Arch comes in at number 1 on the list ahead of the Missouri Botanical Gardens at number 2, followed by, Branson, the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum (Shout out Hannibal!), and the Katy Trail State Park at number 5. Check out the full list by clicking here!

Did they get it right...? Well, my gut says the best thing to do in Missouri is to go to the Lake of the Ozarks, which, in fairness to Fox News, they ranked as the number 7 thing on the list. I would put the Gateway Arch in the top 5, the museum at the bottom of The Arch is terrific, and going up is a lot of fun. The other 3 things in my top 5 would be, a tour of the breweries in St. Louis, a BBQ food tour in Kansas City, and going to a Chiefs game. What would be your top 5 things to "discover" in the Show-Me State?
