On Friday, Dec. 6 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., United Way of Pettis County, Katy Trail Community Health, Open Door Service Center, MU Extension and Pettis County Community Partnership will present a team cook-off, combined with an educational discussion at the Sedalia Housing Authority Community Room, 500 Welch Court.
Participants will leave that night with a brand-new electric skillet as well as cooking supplies such as towels, hot pads and utensils. They will also leave with a newfound knowledge about cooking nutritious meals high in fruit and vegetables with the food available at local food pantries.
