Artists Panel, Reception Planned at The Daum

The Daum Museum will host an artist panel and discussion on Saturday Aug. 16 starting at 2 p.m.

Panelists will include Meganne Rosen, Olivia Hawk, Jennifer Linders and Penny Gordon-Chumbley.

The event will be moderated by Sam Evans.

Attendees are encouraged to wear their “craziest pants to honor the suffragettes who wore pants as protest” back in the day.

There will also be a photo booth, and light refreshments as part of a reception.

In the top photo: Jamie Billings ("Agnostic") is a painter and illustrator from Southwest Missouri. She received a Bachelor of Art in Music Performance from Missouri Southern State University. She returned to MSSU for a Post-Baccalaureate in Studio Art. Her works have been in displayed in the Thomas Hart Benton Art Show and Dogwood Gallery in Neosho as well as juried exhibitions such as Nevertheless She Persisted at the Daum Art Museum and Missouri Southern State University alumni show.
