Endangered Person Advisory Issued for Warsaw Boy
Authorities in Benton County issued an Endangered Person Advisory over the weekend for a 4-year-old boy who is believed to be with a non-custodial parent who allegedly took him from his home in Warsaw.
According to an Endangered Person Advisory, 36-year-old Julie Darnell entered the home of the child's custodial grandparents, took him, and left the residence around 3 a.m. on July 29. Authorities say Darnell is bipolar, with drug-induced schizophrenia, and is believed to be using methamphetamines.
The missing boy, 4-year-old Grayson T. Darnell, is described as a white male, 3'1", 60 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, with a surgical scar on his lip, wearing a light gray and black Star Wars hooded sweatshirt and blue and green plaid shorts.
Authorities say the pair may be traveling in a red 2006 Buick Lucerne bearing Missouri plates MR7U6E. The vehicle was last seen at 112 West Gold Street in Warsaw.
Anyone that sees the missing child, the suspect, or has information related to the case, is asked to immediately call 911, or contact the Benton County Sheriff's Department at 660-438-9555.
