Easton Corbin takes it off-road in the music video for his brand-new single, "Somebody's Gotta Be Country." Readers can press play above to hear the track, and see Corbin in what he says is his natural habitat.

Set against a gray, midwinter sky, the "Somebody's Gotta Be Country" music video follows the "All Over the Road" artist as he spends a day on the farm doing ... well, what he normally does. “We really didn’t have a treatment for this video ... which made it easy for me,” Corbin tells People. “We just went out to a farm that I spend a lot of time at, and I really just spent the day doing what I do.”

Corbin adds that his "Somebody's Gotta Be Country" music video was filmed with no stylist and no professional props. He and the crew just used whatever he had in the back of his truck.

“I thought it was important for me to just be myself and to authentically capture my lifestyle, which is also so much a part of the song,” Corbin says. It made filming and experience that he didn't mind -- except for the cold weather.

In his new video, Corbin is captured bucking hay bales, driving an ATV through the swamp, practicing his turkey bow-hunting skills and strumming his guitar beside a fire, while he sings about all of the traits he carries with him from rural life as he looks for the ones like him. "I still chew a little Red Man / Hit the lake and cast a line / Hold the door and say 'yes ma'am' / Gas up my four-wheel-drive," goes the first verse. "I keep Alan Jackson playing on the radio / Where did all the good ol' boys go?"

"Somebody's gotta party 'til the stars burn out / Wear some wore-out boots in this high class crowd," goes the chorus. "All my rowdy buddies keep settlin' down / Somebody's gotta be country in this town ..."

Written by Ashley Gorley, Dallas Davidson and Rhett Akins, "Somebody's Gotta Be Country" is Corbin's first single since the 2017 hit "A Girl Like You." Corbin says the song "felt like it was written about me."

"I am really excited about this new music because I feel like it’s taking me back where I want to be -- back to my roots," Corbin reflects in a press release. "Where I am in my career right now, I think it’s more important than ever for me just to be myself and to capture that in my music."
