Drug Bust on McVey Road Leads to Two Arrests

Two Sedalia women were arrested on February 7 after authorities received an anonymous tip regarding drug activity in the 700 block of McVey Road.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office and detectives with the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force reported detecting the odor of narcotics when contacting the occupants of the residence.

After conducting a search, authorities reported finding approximately 20 grams of marijuana, digital scales, drug packaging material and methamphetamine paraphernalia. Three children under the age of six were in the residence, according to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office.

26-year-old Brittany Nicole Keith and 29-year-old Sasha Marie Davenport were arrested on multiple drug-related charges and taken to the Pettis County Jail.
