District Semi-Finals Too Much for Smith-Cotton, and Other Scores
It's always tough to lose a district football game but especially when it's a game at a location close to 2 1/2 hours away.
It was not only a long bus ride to Wentzville Friday night for the Smith-Cotton football team but also an even longer trip back as the Tigers lost to the Timberland T-Wolves in Class 5, District 4 play, 39-9.
Coach Charlie McFail, the staff and the Tigers football team end their 2018 season with a record of 5-6.
In the other Class 5, District 4 semi-final game, Battle beat Holt, 48-44. Timberland will host Battle Friday Night, November 9 at Timberland High School in Wentzville.
