Well, maybe. If this is true then this BBQ restaurant has got something that even St. Louis or Kansas City will never have. If you've ever tried BBQ in either city you know its hard to beat. There's a new list claiming that the best BBQ in Missouri is not in STL to KC but in Springfield.

Yeah, I was surprised by then too.

Love Food claims that City Butcher and Barbecue is the best of the best when it comes to BBQ in the Show-Me State. I was scratching my head too. They say,

Here, you can get Central Texas-style barbecue (seasoned with just salt and pepper); think brisket, burnt ends, ribs and hot links. Customers say it’s on par with Franklin Barbecue in Austin.

So it seems it is Texas BBQ in the Show-Me State. Is that even fair? In my opinion no, would you say the same thing if there was a Kansas City BBQ restaurant in Texas? Probably not. However, City Butcher and Barbeque does look amazing from their menu they are bringing the best of Texas to Missouri which is awesome, but if you are going to make a list of the best BBQ places in the state you have to pick a KC or STL restaurant. You just have to. Right?

Either case I better try this BBQ restaurant to find out..you know for research purposes.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
