Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg will open their 2016 season on Saturday, April 16.

USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks will make up the weekly race program, according to a news release from Central Missouri Speedway. "The speedway will be open each week through Labor Day Weekend the track will come to life with Pit Gates opening at 4:30 followed by Spectator Gates at 5. Driver Pill Draw Cutoff is 6:15 (no passing points awarded for late-arriving drivers). The Pit Meeting takes place at 6:30, Hot Laps roll off at 7 and Racing begins at 7:30."

Weekly admission prices have not changed from last year. Admission is $12 for Adults, $10 for Active-Duty Military w/I.D. and Senior Citizens 65 years and over. Kids ages 6-12 are $5, children 5 and under are free. Pit Passes are $30.

Pricing will change for special event weekends during the Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day Sunday night race programs. Season passes are being offered for a limited time. For season pass information, call Susan Walls at 816-229-1338, or on Race Day call 660-747-2166.

Central Missouri Speedway says that a number of improvements have been made at their facility since last season: "Over the off-season, the track received a new front stretch fence and a new pit-side concessions stand with additional new signage and a few coats of new paint on some of the perimeter buildings. The former front-stretch concessions stand is in the process of being renovated in time for the Memorial Day weekend after-race Karaoke and Barn Party."
