American Legion Post 491 at Green Ridge will serve biscuits & gravy Oct. 12.

Western Missouri Medical Center will hold its 12th annual Ladies Night Out from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8

The Genuine Country Music Association will host its 12th Annual Classic Country Jamboree benefit at 2 p.m. Oct. 13 .

On the menu will be sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy & OJ

Retrieving Freedom, Inc.'s 5th Annual Wings for Wags presented by The Local Tap and Tyson Foods Inc., generated $32,000 on Saturday, Sept. 14

The 5th Street Improv will perform at the Hayden Liberty Center, 111 W, 5th Street, on Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Cost is $12 and includes a gourmet spud with our choice of toppings, served with a homemade brownie.
