CAT Assistance Team - Sedalia. Adopt A Cat Week

As some of you know I am a proud cat owner. I have had my Apollo for over 11 years now. My family has always had a pet in our home. Sometimes we have had just dogs, sometimes just cats, sometimes both. Many studies have shown the health benefits of owning a pet, and certainly a cat. They reduce your stress, usually good with kids and give them a sense of responsibility to take care of another living thing. They are more independent than dogs and the cost is much cheaper.

We are SO CLOSE to our goal of over 200 animals adopted in 2021! If you have been considering adding a new furry family member to your home, NOW is the time.

When we intake an animal it stays with us, no matter what, until it is well and finds its forever family. That might mean 4 years and thousands of dollars but we do not care.

That is why adoptions are so CRUCIAL to helping us intake more of our community's sick, injured, and most vulnerable homeless animals.

PetSmart Charities will be hosting 2021's 2nd National Adoption Week at Sedalia PetSmart Nov 8-Nov 14 featuring multiple rescues! To say thank you for all of your support our adoption fees for all cats/kittens will only be $25 for this event. We will have over 30 cats available over the 4 days we will be there. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (including FeLV&booster), microchipped, tested negative for FeLV & FIV, given drontal & panacur (dewormer), kept on flea prevention, and use the litter box in our homes.

Wed 6-8pm Fri 6-8pm Sat 9-4pm Sun 10-3pm
