In the new 2018 CMA Awards ad, Paisley and Underwood are standing on an expansive soundstage, watching clips of past CMAs performances and acceptance speeches. Paisley opens the spot by talking about what an honor it is to host the show and stand on the same stage as so many country legends.
Underwood's voice is filled with pride as she discusses what it means to witness rising stars having big nights at the awards ceremony. It's a feeling the country superstar knows well: The promo video features a clip of her CMA Female Vocalist of the Year win in 2006, her first in the category.
The 2018 CMA Awards are scheduled to air on ABC on Nov. 14, at 8PM ET; the ceremony will take place live at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. It will be Paisley and Underwood's 11th consecutive year co-hosting the star-studded award show. Performers scheduled to take the stage on Country Music's Biggest Night this year include Dierks Bentley and the Brothers Osborne, the Pistol Annies, Thomas Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Old Dominion and Keith Urban, among others.
