Several Warrensburg groups and businesses have partnered for the town's third annual back to school movie night on Friday September 6. This year's film is "How to Train your Dragon - The Hidden World."

Not only will there be the movie, but there will be a variety of activities starting at 6:30PM CDT. Some of the activities include vehicle displays by first responders, a police K-9 demonstration, a bounce house, an obstacle course and giveaways from the National Guard, Kid Zumba sessions and a dinner special at Zaxby's along with photo ops with Zuzy. The movie will screen at approximately 8:30PM CDT.

The third annual movie night is a project of the Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce along with Warrensburg R-6 School District, RE/MAX United, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Johnson County.

It's taking place at Hawthorne Plaza in the parking lot between the Aldi and the AMC Classic Cinemas. For more information you can check out the Daily Star-Journal.

This sounds like a  fun way for the entire family to get out of the house and kick off the weekend on a Friday night!
