UPDATE (Mar ch 12, 5:50 p.m.) : Last week, the Pettis County Sheriff's Office alerted residents that Alan K. Nalder III was missing from his residence on Crystal Springs Road in rural western Pettis County, south of LaMonte. Mr. Nalder was reported to be LEGALLY BLIND and was last seen in the area of Crystal Springs Road and Hwy 127 on foot Monday evening, March 4.

Earlier today (3/12/13), authorities made contact with Alan Nalder in the state of Mississippi. He was reportedly hitchiking his way to Georgia where relatives reside.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office has cancelled the attempt to contact and no longer considers Mr. Nalder to be a missing person.

On Mar. 7, the Pettis County Sheriff's Office received a report that Alan K. Nalder III was missing from his residence on Crystal Springs Road in rural western Pettis County, south of LaMonte. Alan K. Nalder is described a 5'5" tall and weighing approximately 220 pounds, with blue eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a sweatshirt or light jacket, blue jeans and tennis shoes (older photograph featured).
