Ashley McBryde has been nominated at the 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards. The rising country star is up for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program, for a performance on CBS This Morning Saturday.

This year's Daytime Emmy Awards nominees were revealed on Wednesday (March 20). McBryde's fellow Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program nominees are husband and wife Israel and Adrienne Houghton, for a performance on The Real; violinist Lindsey Stirling, for a performance on Live With Kelly and Ryan; the cast of Broadway's The Band, for a performance on Today; and singer-songwriter Ben Rector, for a performance on Pickler and Ben.

"Holy crap! What is life right now!?!" McBryde tweeted in response to the news. "Thank you so much ..."

McBryde's CBS This Morning Saturday appearance took place in late December. The singer-songwriter chatted with host Anthony Mason, and performed three songs: "Girl Goin' Nowhere," "El Dorado" and "American Scandal." All three of the tracks come from her Grammy-nominated debut album, Girl Going Nowhere.

The 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards show will take place on May 5, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California. A complete list of this year's nominees is available at EmmyOnline.tv.
