Aaron Tippin Talks About His Career in Country Music
Saturday, September 23 Aaron Tippin will be at the Ozark's Amphitheater in Camdenton, MO. We had a chance to talk with him about what's going on in his life.
Born in Florida and raised in South Carolina, Tippin got his break competing on TNN's You Can Be a Star talent contest in 1986. In 1987 he landed a song publishing contract.
At 25 years of age, Aaron tippin landed in Nashville. He did waht he could to get by in the early years in Music City. As he was trying to make a livng by writing and singing country music, he also worked on cars and sold vitamins and protein supplements.
In 1991, he signed on with RCA and the rest is history. He's released a total of nine studio albums and two compilations, with five gold certifications and one platinum certification among them.
