
Oak Grove Woman Injured in an Explosion at the Lake of the Ozarks
The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated an explosion that involved a watercraft at the Lake of the Ozarks, just before 2:00, Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the 38 Mile Marker at Silver Sands Marina. A 1996 Mach One watercraft had just finished refueling. Upon restarting the vessel, an explosion occurred in the motor. 53-year old Sherri L. Walker, of Oak Grove, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries in the explosion. She was taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Sunrise Beach Fire Department and the Gravois Fire Department.
