As we roll into the midweek portion of the weather, a possibility of a mix of wintry-like weather could sneak into our area.

Light wintry mix of rain, snow, and perhaps some freezing drizzle will be possible tonight. Other than isolated instances of slick roads and surfaces widespread hazardous weather is not anticipated at this time.

Here's the forecast for the Sedalia/Warrensburg area according to the National Weather Service:

A slight chance of showers before 1pm, then a slight chance of rain after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. South wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light and variable. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Tonight
A chance of rain before 4am, then a chance of rain or freezing rain between 4am and 5am, then a chance of rain and snow showers after 5am. Cloudy, with a low around 33. Breezy, with a north northeast wind 7 to 12 mph increasing to 16 to 21 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Mostly cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 40. North wind 7 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
