Bridgestone Arena has been abuzz in recent days leading up to the 2018 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night (June 6). Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley and more have been warming up for their performances at the awards show with onstage rehearsals.

In addition to Underwood and Bentley, more than a dozen country stars will take the stage during the 2018 CMT Music Awards: Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia LineJason AldeanLittle Big TownChris StapletonKelsea BalleriniBlake SheltonLuke Bryan and Sam Hunt are all scheduled to perform during the ceremony. Additionally, Brothers Osborne will be joining Bentley for a performance of their song "Burning Man," from Bentley's new album, The Mountain, while Darius Rucker, Aldean, Luke Bryan and Charles Kelley will collaborate on a cover of Drivin' N Cryin's "Straight to Hell," which appears on Rucker's newest album, When Was the Last Time.

The Backstreet Boys and Kelly Clarkson are also scheduled to perform during the 2018 CMT Music Awards. Clarkson, who is making her CMT Music Awards debut, will be singing her version of the Guess Who's "American Woman" (also famously performed by Lenny Kravitz). Clarkson's rendition of the song is the theme for a new Paramount Network sitcom, American Woman, inspired by the real-life upbringing of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and starring Alicia Silverstone, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Bartels; the show premieres on June 7.

Underwood, Florida Georgia Line and Aldean received the most CMT Music Awards (four apiece) in 2018; all categories are fan-voted. Johnny Knoxville, Lindsey Vonn, Kaitlin Doubleday and Lennon and Maisy Stella from NashvilleLauren Alaina, Leon Bridges, Luke CombsRaeLynnRascal FlattsSugarland and the Backstreet Boys will be presenting trophies during the show.

The 2018 CMT Music Awards will take place in Nashville on June 6. The ceremony will air live on CMT beginning at 8 PM ET, and Little Big Town -- who are nominated for three awards -- will host.
