17-Year-Old Odessa Youth Fatally Injured in a Lafayette County Accident Tuesday

At 3:pm Tuesday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a fatality accident on Northbound Z at Route TT in Lafayette County.

The accident reportedly occurred as the 2004 Ford driven by 17-year-old Arron D. Specker of Odessa entered the path of a 2000 Dodge driven by 49-year-old Lisa L. Eaton of Bates City, causing the Eaton vehicle to strike the Specker vehicle in the driver’s side. The report states both vehicles travelled off the roadway before coming to rest.

Specker suffered fatal injuries in the crash, and was pronounced deceased at 3:43pm Tuesday afternoon. He was taken to Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Eaton received moderate injuries, and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by EMS for treatment.
