Now let me clarify the question-"What's Your All-Time Favorite Breakfast Cereal?" I imagine most, if not all of us, have had a bowl of cereal for lunch or supper at least a once or twice in our lifetime.

Cereal has changed over the years. When I was a kid growing up in the 60's, you're selection of the dry stuff was somewhat limited to corn flakes, Shredded Wheat, (the large biscuits) Grape Nuts and Wheaties along with a few more like Cheerios, Rice Krispies and Raisin Bran.

As time went on the cereal manufacturers started marketing more to the kids and came up with such iconic brands like Froot Loops, Cap'n Crunch and Lucky Charms.

Back in the day, it didn't matter how much sugar was added to the product because, I guess, we didn't think it was a big concern. If it tasted good that was all that mattered.

Who could forget the cereals fashioned after cartoon characters like Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles. In the 70's we were also introduced to Count Chocula and Frankenberry.

As the 2000's hit so did the effect on breakfast cereal. Due to the low-carb craze, cereal-makers felt the effect and decline of the consumer buying their tasty morsels. Healthy food company Kashi hit the scene in a big way with their debut of Good Friends cereal.

Yes, cereal has changed through the years. What's your favorite?
