Sacred Heart is one of only 100 schools across the nation to be named as a finalist in the State Farm Celebrate My Drive contest, and is in the running for a $100,000 grant.

Winning schools will be chosen based on the results of an online voting process. Sacred Heart is urging community members to log on to www.celebratemydrive.com and vote. Today is the last day for voting and you can cast your vote til midnight.

Sacred Heart Student Council members have been participating in a week-long series of activities to educate its students on the importance of safe and focused driving through State Farm’s “Drive 2N2” campaign, which promotes driving with two eyes on the road and two hands on the wheel.

The 22 schools who receive the most votes will be awarded the $100,000 grand prize. Eligible voters must be 14 years or older to participate and are allowed to vote once per day.
