Upcoming May Country Concerts You Don’t Want to Miss
A number of country singers will be touring through the area in May, including some huge tour stops in Kansas City from some of country's biggest stars. Here's a look at upcoming country music concerts for May 2016.
Jon Pardi
Jon Pardi will be in Columbia on Thursday, May 5 at The Blue Note. Tickets are $15. Doors open at 7 p.m.
Lee Brice
Lee Brice will be in St. Joseph, Missouri on Friday, May 6 at the St. Joseph Civic Arena. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30-$46.25, and are available through Ticketmaster. Clare Dunn will open.
Carrie Underwood
The Sprint Center is bringing Carrie Underwood to Kansas City on May 15. According to the Sprint Center, "The Storyteller Tour – Stories in the Round will be Underwood’s first tour 'in the round.' With the stage in the middle of the arena floor, the 360-degree setting will allow fans on all sides of the arena to get a very intimate and unique concert experience." Tickets are $46-$76. Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers will open.
Jason Aldean
The Providence Medical Center Amphitheater has Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses coming on Friday, May 20, as part of this year's Country Mega Ticket. Doors open at 6:30, the show is at 7:30. Get tickets at Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster Outlets, and by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
Billy Currington and Kelsea Ballerini
Billy Currington and Kelsea Ballerini will be at Columbia's 9th Street Summerfest at 6 p.m. on May 20. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 the day of the show.
Granger Smith
Granger Smith will be doing a free concert in Kansas City on May 21. Smith will headline the Miller Lite Downtown Hoedown at KC Live! in the Power & Light District at 6 p.m. Concertgoers under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Zac Brown Band
