Up-and-Coming Country Duo, Dave and Whitney, Visit KIX 105.7 [Interview]

I was about to start my first break on The Cool Country Afternoon Show when our receptionist came to the studio and let me know Dave and Whitney were here to see me. I had no clue who they were, but I was about to find out.

I went to greet the duo and they were a ball of excitement from the first hello. They are traveling across the country on a radio tour and decided to crash in on the show. They were so much fun. You can check out our interview below. I also got them to do acoustic versions of their songs Alibi and Another Now. I have to say I was a fan. They are really good.

Here is some additional information about Dave and Whitney. They are a married singing group. Dave considers ZZ Top, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and Maroon 5 among his musical influences. He loves banana peppers and doesn't drink much beer. His favorite car is a flat black Plymouth Roadrunner. The fictional character he most identifies with is Tom Sawyer.

Whitney considers Reba, Martina McBride, Patsy Cline, and Foreigner among her musical influences. Her favorite chick flick is Sweet Home Alabama. She also hates sushi, mushrooms, and olives. They also help charitable organizations like ToyRelif.com, Sertoma Club, Rescue1, Volunteers of America, and various animal shelters.
