The Central Missouri Police Academy, a division of the Missouri Safety Center at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, has announced new scholarship options that, along with existing options, provide financial assistance for law enforcement professionals.  According to Colin Comer, CMPA director, degree-seeking students attending the academy are eligible for federal financial aid. The 2015 Fall Basic Academy begins on Aug.17.

An event that takes place every five years, a reunion for students who attended the laboratory high school on the University of Central Missouri campus is planned for Friday and Saturday, June 12-13.   Approximately 300 people are already registered for the event, which is being coordinated by UCM’s Office of Alumni Relations in cooperation with a 14-member committee of school graduates. The reunion is open to individuals who attended the Training School, College High School or University High School.

Registration is open for the 2015 Doug Karleskint Mules Basketball Individual Camp, which will is being held June 15-17 at the UCM Multipurpose Building. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily and is open to kids ages 7-18.  Cost of the camp is $150 per person and includes lunch each day and a camp t-shirt.
