The University of Central Missouri Department of Public Safety is sponsoring a R.A.D. Basic Self Defense for Women course. The dates and times for the course are February 10th, 17th and 24th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM each night. All sessions are held at the Central Missouri Police Academy at 200 Ming Street. Attendance at all three sessions is required. R.A.D. is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The R.A.D. System is a comprehensive, women-only course that begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. R.A.D. is not a martial arts course. R.A.D. is instructed by UCM Department of Public Safety Officers and is provided at no charge. The course is open to all UCM students, faculty, staff and their dependents. Members of the general public are also invited to register for the class. All participants completing the course receive a UCM RAD T-shirt. For more information about the course or to register, please email Sgt. The 22nd-ranked Mules defeated Lincoln for a 71-62 win on Wednesday night at  the Multipurpose Building. The Mules improved to 16-3 overall and 7-3 in MIAA play.  

Seven Jennies contributed to a 44-point first half for UCM, propelling the team to a 79-67 win over visiting Lincoln.

The Jennies next game is slated for Saturday, January 24 at Lindenwood for a 1 p.m. tip-off.   The Mules are back in action with a 3:00 start time at Lindenwood.
