UCM Update

The Kansas City Heartland Men’s Chorus will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, in Hendricks Hall on the UCM campus.  The concert is sponsored by The Spotlight, the student programming board from the UCM Office of Student Activities. The event is free and open to the public.

Following a national search process that began prior to the spring 2015 semester, the University of Central Missouri has named university alumna and longtime staff member Laurel Hogue as the new Vice Provost for Extended Studies. Her duties begin July 1.

The Central Missouri Mules pounded out 27 hits and scored 22 runs in sweeping a doubleheader from Northeastern State last night at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field. The Mules came from behind in both games, winning the opener 7-3 and taking the nightcap 15-10.

The series will wrap up on Friday with a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. It's also Senior Day with the Mules' seniors being honored between games of the doubleheader.
