The University of Central Missouri’s Gallery of Art and Design is currently hosting two exhibitions in all three of the gallery’s exhibit areas and in the halls of the Art Center.

The 47th annual Citation Awards Exhibition, a juried exhibition open to art majors and minors in the Department of Art and Design, is on view in the Main and Outer galleries. The exhibition distributes more than 25 awards and scholarships of achievement funded by the Department of Art and Design, the UCM Foundation, and Mid-Missouri Artists group. The exhibition will run through Friday, April 3.

For the second year, students from the University of Central Missouri’s fashion and apparel merchandising program and Delta Zeta sorority will play a key role in ArtBra KC, generating awareness of breast cancer and raising funds to assist breast cancer survivors.

The ArtBra KC event is planned for May 1 at the TWA Museum at the Kansas City Downtown Airport. Tickets and additional information are available at artbrakc.com.

The Central Missouri Mules golf team shot a final round 310 in windy conditions to finish as runner-up at the UCO Broncho Invite at Gaillardia Country Club. Every team shot over 300 on the final day of competition due to the windy conditions.  The Mules finished at 25-over par, 601.
