Films from around the world will be featured at the 5th Annual Show Me Justice Film Festival April 9-10 at the University of Central Missouri.

Films selected for the festival come from Brazil, Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Kenya, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and address issues ranging from gender and sexuality to race relations and civil disobedience in Ferguson, Mo.

Presented in documentary, narrative, animated and experimental formats, the two-day program of films is open to the public.  The festival opens with a program of short films  from 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday in Hendricks Hall. On Thursday evening, the festival continues at 7 p.m. in Hendricks Hall.

The Central Missouri bowling team stayed at No. 4 in the latest National TenPin Coaches Association (NTCA) Top 20 poll released on Wednesday.  The Jennies (83-38) tallied 504 points to remain in fourth in the rankings. Nebraska continues to hold down the top spot garnering 21 of 22 first-place votes and 640 points. Fairleigh Dickinson was second with one first-place nod and 580 points and Arkansas State was third with 534 points.
