An international organization that has more than 1,000 member campuses, and is dedicated to educational and enriching residential experiences in higher education worldwide, has honored University of Central Missouri professional staff member, Patrick Bradley, with its most prestigious award.  Bradley, UCM’s senior director of University Housing and Dining Services and director of Student Auxiliary Services, received the Parthenon Award from the American College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I) Foundation.

University of Central Missouri President Chuck Ambrose and Mrs. Kris Ambrose will host the President's Lawn Concert Monday, July 27.  The annual event is scheduled at Selmo Park, 518 S. Holden St. UCM administrators will begin serving ice cream and cookies at 7 p.m., and the Warrensburg Community Band, under the direction of Russell Coleman, will perform at 7:30 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public. In the event inclement weather, the event will take place in the Elliott Union ballroom across the street from Selmo Park.

Central Missouri freshman golfer Taelyn Entriken was named to the 2014-15 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar team as announced by the WGCA. This is the first All-American Scholar award of her career.  Entriken was one of the six student-athlete from the MIAA to receive the award.
