Moving forward with plans to enhance student parking at the University of Central Missouri, the Board of Governors’ Finance and Administration Committee on July 14 accepted a $1,250,000 bid from Phillips Paving, Inc., Kansas City, to build new parking facilities. Work on the project begins immediately on the west side of campus, with the construction deadline set for Sept. 3.

Next Monday in the UCM Gallery of Art & Design, students of Art Education and the UCM Gallery are hosting a GALLERY KIDS Event!  Children ages 5 - 11 and teens 12+ are invited to join us in the Gallery of Art & Design (217 E. Former Jennies Bowler and UCM Athletic Hall of Fame member Bryanna Caldwell placed seventh at the Professional Women's Bowling Association Storm Sacramento Open over the weekend. It was the first PWBA regular season event of the season.

The PWBA Storm Sacramento Open was the first regular season event on the PWBA Tour in more than a dozen years. The tour ceased operations in 2003, but has been rejuvenated this year thanks to the support from the bowling industry.
