Just before 10 a.m. Saturday morning, Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle for an improper stop at 6th and Engineer. Upon contact with the occupants, consent to search was obtained, and the officer found methamphetamine in the vehicle, and in the possession of a passenger.

A police report states the passenger, 35-year-old Janice L. Webster, a homeless person, ingested evidence and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Following her dismissal she was arrested and taken to the Pettis County pending drug related charges.

A check on the driver, 35-year-old Michelle Ann Anderson of rural Sedalia, revealed she had an active warrant out of Warrensburg. At the time of the police report she was in the Pettis County Jail on $200 bond.
