Two 18-year-old Marshall residents were injured in an accident Monday morning in Saline County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 1999 Toyota Camry was northbound on MO-41 when it traveled off the side of the road. The driver over-corrected and the vehicle eventually overturned and ejected both occupants.

18-year-old Aurora Garcia and 18-year-old Jeremy Peterson were taken by Life Flight to University Medical Center in Columbia for the treatment of serious injuries.

The Camry was totaled in the accident.
