Two people were arrested on February 15 following an investigation that began with a report of a stolen vehicle.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office says a pursuit began of another vehicle related to the investigation. Pettis County deputies, Sedalia police officers, and troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were all involved in the pursuit through the city of Sedalia. A suspect, 23-year-old Adam T. Moseley of Sedalia, was located and arrested by Sedalia Police after he was seen running towards McDonald's, 1611 S. Limit. Authorities say Moseley was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies obtained a search warrant for the residence where the incident began in the 1400 block of E. 7th St. The stolen vehicle was recovered, and methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a firearm and items connected to a theft were reportedly found. 43-year-old Michael S. Kabler was taken into custody.

Both Moseley and Kabler were taken to the Pettis County Jail.
