The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident in Henry County that injured 4 people.

The accident occurred around 10:00 Tuesday morning (August 23) at Missouri Route PP, just south of 100 Road. A 2006 Pontiac traveled off the right side of the road, when the driver over corrected and then traveled off the left side of the road. The Pontiac then traveled down an embankment and came to rest.

All four people in the vehicle suffered minor injuries in the accident.

The driver, identified as 42-year old Jesse J. Heistand and an adult passenger, 31-year old Misty A. Heistand, were both taken to Golden Valley Medical Center by Golden Valley EMS, for treatment.

Two children in the vehicle, Waylynn R. Heistand (age 0), and Zachary D. Heistand (age 3), were taken to Golden Valley Medical Center, as well, for the treatment of their injuries.

All four people are Clinton residents.

The vehicle was totaled and was towed from the scene.

The Patrol was assisted by the Tightwad Fire Department.
