Senior Patrol Leader Paul Reinkemeyer was supervising the setup of several homemade living quarters around 5:30 p.m. Between 10 and 20 scouts and their adult leaders (and dads) planned to spend the night in 35-degree weather while collecting for Community Cafe. The good news was that there was very little breeze and no precipitation expected Friday night.

"We are collecting canned goods and paper goods (for Community Cafe). We don't really have a goal, other than to just collect and help them as much as we can," Reinkemeyer said.

The goods collected overnight will be taken to the Community Cafe, Jefferson and Moniteau, and weighed on Saturday. The Cafe serves dozens of hungry local citizens every weeknight.
