Will you be cheering for the Smith-Cotton High School coach or the Junior High School coach?

It’s a black vs. gold battle when coaches, teachers, and staff from the Sedalia School District #200 schools face one another on the basketball court Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Tiger Bash presented by the Sedalia School District Foundation.

The Tiger Bash will be held in the Smith-Cotton High School gymnasium from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Adult admission is $5. Admission for students’ preschool through 12th grade is $1 or a donation of a canned good. Canned goods will be donated to the Open Door Service Center.

The Kid Zone carnival for kids in preschool through middle school will be open in the new multi-purpose gym from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Wristbands to play the games are $5. Sponsored by Limbaugh Chiropractic Center, games include the Tiger Walk, Penny Drop, Race Track and many more. Before the basketball game the High Voltage Dance Clinic will be performing.

The basketball game begins at 7 p.m. Students are encouraged to attend and cheer on their favorite tigers as they watch their teachers dribble, pass, and slam dunk the ball. Assistant Superintendent Steve Triplett will be announcing the game which is sponsored by Billie Barnes RE/MAX of Sedalia, W-K Family of Dealerships, and Septagon Construction.

Half time entertainment includes performances by the Smith-Cotton High School cheerleaders, the High Voltage Dance team, and a parade of elementary school athletes. The concession stand will be open.
