Thirty Years Ago This Month

What were you doing in 1985?  I was driving a route truck for Coca-Cola in Sedalia. Slinging those 16 ounce returnable glass bottles around.  I was wondering who were the top artists in country music.  George Strait, Eddie Rabbitt, Reba McEntire, (This was when we still used her last name!) and Alabama all had #1 songs.  The big event on this date was Super Bowl XIX: SF 49ers beat the Miami Dolphins, 38-16 in Stanford Super Bowl MVP: Joe Montana, San Francisco, QB.  A cold front strikes the US, at least 40 die.
