The pre-show will include a Rocky Horror costume contest, and attendees are encouraged to dress as their favorite Rocky Horror character.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show remains a cultural phenomenon. The story centers on a young engaged couple whose car breaks down in the rain near a castle where they seek a telephone to call for help. As they enter the castle, they happen upon strange characters in elaborate costumes celebrating an annual convention. They discover the head of the house is Frank N. Furter, a mad scientist (who actually is an alien) who creates a living muscle man in his laboratory. The couple is eventually released by the servants who take control.

Tickets are $10 each in advance or $12 at the door. Show “kits” will also be available for $5 in advance. No outside show kits will be allowed.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 827-3228, or stop by the Liberty Center at 111 West 5th Street in downtown Sedalia, or visit www.lcaasedalia.com.
