When Taylor Swift found out she would be performing at Prince William and Kate Middleton's abode for the 2013 Winter White Gala charity event on Tuesday (Nov. 26), she brushed up on her palace etiquette, but assumed she wouldn't meet the royals. What she may not have expected is a little stage time with superstar Bon Jovi and Prince William, all while belting out 'Livin' on a Prayer.'

The 23-year-old songstress was escorted to the stage where Bon Jovi stood with his acoustic guitar, led by the Duke of Cambridge at Buckingham Palace. They took their positions on either side of the 'Shot Through the Heart' hitmaker. Dressed to the nines in a long flowing dress adorned with shimmery lace, Swift looked ravishing enough to be part of the royal family.

As the rocker began belting out the lyrics to his signature song, Prince William jokingly straightened up his suit lapels and fixed his black bow tie, with a slight smirk on his face. He opted for some subtle hand snaps, while Swift went all out with her dancing, obviously having the time of her life, totally comfortable in front of a big -- albeit royal -- audience.

Although it was difficult to hear the prince's vocals, the 'Red' singer's elated singing was enough to make anyone smile. At one point during the song, Swift and Prince William gave each other a double high five as the crowd cheered on.

In addition to singing 'Livin' on a Prayer,' Swift also performed her songs 'I Knew You Were Trouble' and, fittingly, 'Love Story.' She introduced the song by saying it "has reference to palaces, princes and princesses and it is very strange that I end up playing it in a palace ... I don't think I've ever played at a palace before, so it is really wonderful."

It will certainly be a night to remember for the singer; dancing the night away with one of the world's biggest rock stars and a member of the royal family sounds like a fairytale ending in our book!
