Taking In the Sedalia Art Scene: Dustin Schmidt’s “Blue Collection” [PHOTOS]
June 6, 2012 2:32 PM I’m not an art critic. As a matter of fact, the old saying “I don’t know anything about art, but I know what I like” fits me very well. Yesterday (June 5) I had the opportunity to see an art exhibit at Liberty Center Association for the Arts. On display was artist Dustin M. Schmidt’s “Blue Collection.” Dustin is a local artist that works in acrylic paints. He’s also very fond of the color blue. You can periodically see his pieces at the Daum Museum. He was kind enough to grant me permission to take a few photos of his work to show you here.
