Earlier this week, we were among those in the audience for the first ever Fast and Furious 7 screening at SXSW. It was an emotional affair, to say the least. It's not often you watch a movie where The Rock walks down a street shooting a helicopter out of the sky with a massive gatling gun that ends with everyone in the audience crying, but there we were. An entire audience still processing the grief and sadness of the death of Paul Walker. A few days after that screening, Vin Diesel hosted a similar screening in Los Angeles and introduced the film to the crowd. It was about as sad as you can imagine.

‘Fast and Furious 7’—the next installment in the best film franchise that isn’t Marvel—is coming this spring after some lengthy delays (it was originally scheduled to open last summer), and based on this new trailer, we couldn’t be more excited.

Universal has released a new official poster for ‘Furious 7,’ along with a whole gallery of images featuring some familiar faces (and some new ones) to get you all revved up for the upcoming sequel.

A ‘Fast and Furious’ Super Bowl trailer is almost as much of a tradition as the halftime show at this point. OK, maybe not quite that much, but the past two ‘Fast and Furious’ movies have had their ads, and now ‘Fast and Furious 7’ is here to follow up on that tradition. 'Fast' producers originally wanted Tommy Lee Jones to star in the film until star Vin Diesel came to them with The Rock. And where did he get that idea? One of his Facebook fans suggested it to him. Justin Lin may return to direct "a multi-part production that will lead to multiple movies shot together and will wave the checkered flag on the 'Fast & Furious' franchise."

Here we go! After being teased in seven-second increments earlier this week, we have the first full, official trailer for the newly-titled 'Furious 7,' which wastes absolutely no time getting right into the bonkers action, with a car being parachute-dropped onto the road during one of the crew's missions, and Paul Walker's Brian being rescued from a harrowing episode on the edge of a cliff by Michelle Rodriguez. And that's only a fraction of what we see in this trailer.

Were it not for the untimely and tragic death of Paul Walker, 'Fast and Furious 7' would have been released this past July and probably would be making its way to DVD and Blu-ray within the next few weeks. But, the release date was pushed back to April 3, 2015 and, after some lengthy reshoots, we're finally ready to see the first footage from the film next week.

By now, everyone is familiar with the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, where people heed the call to throw buckets of ice water on themselves to spread awareness of ALS and raise donations to support The ALS Association. Everyone, from your many Facebook friends to A-list celebs have been participating, but, for us, there's nothing like seeing the likes of Thor, Iron Man and Star-Lord step up to the plate.
