The eyes have it...when it comes to successful marketing of cereal brands to adults and kids.  A recent study by Cornell University’s Food and Brand Lab and the Yale Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity reveals consumers are 16 percent more likely to trust a brand of cereal if the character on the box is staring them directly in the eyes.

CareerBuilder asked close to 2,200 hiring managers if they’ve ever spotted a lie on a resume and 58 percent said yes, indeed they had. The problem has apparently gotten worse since the recession ended with jobs still relatively scarce as three in ten managers admit the incidence of lying has increased.
