Winter Storm Watch Issued for Pettis County, 6″-10″ of Snowfall Expected This Weekend
The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has issued a Winter Storm Watch in effect from Saturday evening (Mar. 23) through Sunday evening for portions of eastern Kansas and Western Missouri, including Pettis County.
Child Safe Holding Annual Adult Easter Egg Hunt This Weekend
One of my favorite events for one of my favorite causes is going on Saturday It's the adult Easter Egg Hunt benefiting the Child Safe Organization. Child Safe is a organization that helps children who have been physically and or sexually abused. It's a safe place where kids who have been abused can talk to a professional about what has happened to them in a safe environment. It is videotaped and sent to prosecutors and law enforcement so the kids only have to tell their story one time. It's a great organization and this is their biggest fundraiser.

March 16, 2013 The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2591 Lady Auxiliary hosted the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Downtown Sedalia on Saturday, Mar. 16. This year's theme was " Lucky 13 - Go For the Gold."
There were many kids and families who participated in the cake walk at the VFW Building before the parade, then took their bikes and rode along with about 40 parade entries down Ohio Street

Our Bids for Bargains Radio Auction is back, starting Mar. 18, 2013 at 12:05 p.m. You’ll be able to catch the auction on the air on KIX 105 and Newstalk 1050.
