The Community Santa program in Sedalia has reached its last week of registering families that are in need of Christmas assistance. This program benefits not only families in need, but the elderly and handicapped as well. It works with the other social services agencies in Pettis County and all donations are used to help as many as possible.
Kids, there seems to be always something happening in our area. You just might not know about what's going on! So, here's a list of some of the stuff that's happening 'round in our parts.
Youth season was a success, with four out of the six kids we took out harvesting their first deer. We still have the second youth season to go, so I'm sure we'll get them back in the woods.
Last week we told you about Wounded Warrior Eric Stadler. We'll be taking him out hunting this morning just before seven more Wounded Warriors arrive in Sedalia for the first Wounded Warrior hunt in Pettis County.

Black Friday is quickly becoming a holiday of it's own, with shoppers braving cold weather and huge crowds in order to save some cash on their Christmas shopping. LoCash Cowboys will be returning to Sedalia for an acoustic "storytellers" concert on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Liberty Center in Sedalia. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m.
