This weekend, there are two walks that are near and dear to my heart for very different reasons.  The first walk I want to mention is the Walk to End Alzheimer's that will take place in Sedalia this Saturday, September 8, at the Missouri State Fairgrounds Highway Gardens.  The registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk itself is at 10 a.m.

B.A.D. Ass. Poker Run Supports C.A.S.A, but You Don’t Have to Ride to Help
The Pettis County C.A.S.A. (Citizens Against Spousal Abuse) is holding their B.A.D. Ass. (Bikers Against Domestic Assault) Poker Run on Saturday June 9.  Registration for the ride starts at 9 a.m. at Liberty Park in Sedalia, and will leave at 10:30 a.m. The stops will be in Tipton, Stover, Lincoln, Windsor and will end at 6 p.m. at The End Zone in the Thompson Hills Shopping Center.
